Daniel Padilla to hold his own concert in April?

Daniel Padilla’s live performance of Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat at the finals night of Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs on Sunday somehow told the audiences/viewers that he really could hold his own even while singing solo on stage.

He owned it, and it was impossible to take your eyes away from him as he moved from one point to the other in front of screaming people that formed a mosh pit just below the stage. Even Rommel Padilla, his father couldn’t help but use his cellphone to take a video of son’s performance.

I guess the event was a dry run of sorts for Daniel because soon after, news about a big concert has surfaced. And it’s really big because according to reports, the April 30 concert will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum!

If the fans screamed for him that much during the one-song performance at the Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday, I guess they have to rest their throats for a while so they can scream their lungs out for the teen star come Araneta concert.

He will surely sing songs from his self-titled debut album released last year which has already gained platinum status. Expect songs like Hinahanap-hanap Kita and Prinsesa, and of course Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat which won four special awards at the Himig Handog finals – MOR Listeners’ Choice, Tambayan 101 Listeners’ Choice, Star Records Buyers’ Choice, and MYX Viewers’ Choice awards.
